Gareth Bale’s future with Real Madrid continue to raise questions, but it looks like he will definitely depart this summer. This indication comes following statements from Los Blancos boss, Zinedine Zidane to the media in a recent interview.

Speaking during his team’s preseason tour, Zidane is not shy on saying his hope that Bale will leave Madrid this summer. The Frenchman even explained that they are working to sent the Wales international away from Santiago Bernebau.

“Bale did not play because he is very close to leaving. We hope he leaves soon. It would be the best for everyone,” Zidane stated. “We are working on his transfer to a new team.”

Moreover, Zizou also denied the reason for selling the Welshman is because of personal reasons. The tactician only said that it’s just time for all parties to change and take a different rout.

“I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done. I have to make decisions, we have to change, the Frenchman added.”

This strong statement certainly puts Bale’s situation much more clear, though it’s still uncertain on where he will be going. There’s not many teams that can afford paying massive transfer fees or his big wages.
