The long and winding saga regarding Romelu Lukaku’s future finally meet its end as Inter Milan have officially signed him. Nerazzurri got their number one choice up front after agreeing to pay Manchester United around 75 million Euro.

The Belgium international also signed a five year long deal reportedly worth 9 million Euro pre season, which also includes bonuses. It’s a massive financial deal for La Beneamata, but getting Lukaku is what their coach, Antonio Conte has been asking for.

Signing Lukaku was far from a comfortable road for La Beneamata as they were struggling to agree terms with United. Things got even more tricky when Juventus suddenly found themselves in the mix.

Bianconeri were also close in getting the former Everton man after agreeing on a swap plus cash deal with United. That deal was supposedly include Paulo Dybala moving to Old Trafford, but the Argentinian was reluctant to move.

Dybala simply can’t agree on personal terms with Man U, so they have to cancel the agreement. That situation opens up the door again for Nerazzurri and this time they don’t want to mess around again.

Inter finally agree to satisfy Man United’s demand over Lukaku’s price so that Conte can get his man. The Belgian himself is looking happy with his choice stating that he’s joining Nerazzurri because it’s not for everyone.
