Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola spoke about Liverpool’s form. He insists that Kevin De Bruyne can play better and predicts Haaland will break the premier league goalscoring record.
Guardiola insists Kevin De Bruyne still play better
Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has pushed Kevin De Bruyne to play even better despite the Belgian’s outstanding performance on Saturday in the Premier League victory over Brighton, which included a goal and three opportunities created.
“He has room to grow. Kevin, he’s not playing at his best level yet,” the City manager said.
“He performs at an extraordinary level but not at his peak. I don’t need to inform him; he already knows. His dynamic is still not flawless.”
“The goal [he scored] is great because, to him, we didn’t suffer in the last 15-20 minutes, he said when I spoke with him.”

Guardiola: Haaland is capable of breaking the Premier League goal record
Erling Haaland is on track to break records this year, according to Pep Guardiola.
Since joining Guardiola’s Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, the prolific Haaland has scored an astounding 22 goals in just 15 matches.
The 22-yar old’s-17 goals, including a brace in the champions’ 3-1 victory against Brighton on Saturday, have all come in the Premier League.
“We don’t have to be a genius (to realise) if he continues with this rhythm, this average every game, he’s going to surpass the record, without a doubt,” said City boss Guardiola.
“In contrast, you might score in football, but after a few days, you cease. I’m not sure. I believe he is pleased when the team wins and unhappy when the team loses.”
“Erling has the desire to score goals repeatedly, much like all the strikers I have seen in my career, including Samuel Eto’o, Lionel Messi, (Robert) Lewandowski, Thomas Muller, and Sergio Aguero. It has to be that way because it is typical.”

Guardiola claims he believes more in the Liverpool team than Jurgen Klopp
Pep Guardiola has suggested that he has ‘more belief’ in Liverpool challenging Manchester City for the title than Jurgen Klopp does.
After losing to Arsenal earlier this month, Klopp declared Liverpool out of the championship race. However, Guardiola recently asserted that Liverpool is still City’s primary rival, something he elaborated on following his team’s triumph yesterday.
The Spaniard remarked, “It appears from my statement that I have more faith in the Liverpool team than their manager” (as quoted by the Express).
“There are still a lot of games to play, the World Cup is in the midst, Europe is involved, there are cup competitions involved, and there are injuries involved.”
“Yes, as I already stated, we have six or seven games left. Even with just ten games, a billion different scenarios may occur.”
