Kylian Mbappe has vehemently denied claims that he wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain in 2023.
Despite having committed his future to PSG through the end of 2021ā2022, there are increasing allegations that he is dissatisfied in the French capital and plans to leave after the World Cup.
Although PSG president Christophe Galtier and sporting director Luis Campos refuted the rumors, Mbappe’s camp had indicated that their star player wanted to depart.
Mbappe rubbishes the reports
The former AS Monaco forward has now spoken out about the matter and categorically denied having any intention of leaving Parc des Princes shortly.
Mbappe said to RMC Sport, “The information came out on the day of the Benfica match. I didn’t understand.”
I’m not a part of the story. I shared everyone else’s shock. It’s entirely false, and I’m happy here.”
Mbappe’s remarks appear to end the immediate rumors about his place in Paris as he prepares to join the France team for the World Cup.

What reports were saying?
According to sources in France, Kylian MbappƩ intends to leave PSG in January. Daniel Riolo of RMC Sport published the shocking revelation on Monday, and Le Parisien confirmed it.
The striker reportedly feels misled by Al Khelafi and Antero Henrique since they allegedly broke their promises when the player renewed his contract with the team back in May.
The France international feels that the club made him several commitments that have not been kept.
The transfer market comes first. Khelafi made several signing promises (Tchouameni, DembƩlƩ, etc.), but none of them joined PSG.
As a result, he failed to provide the current Ligue 1 champion with the anticipated qualitative improvement they required. After a forgettable seasonāparticularly after their disastrous Champions League exit to Real Madrid.
Neymar’s departure was one of the promises PSG made to MbappĆ©. The Brazilian had no place in the club’s plans for the upcoming season. MbappĆ© didn’t object to Neymar leaving, but he also didn’t request Neymar be placed up for sale.
Le Parisien claims that Luis Campos, who was brought in specifically to help Kylian MbappƩ get closer to signing a new contract, will leave if MbappƩ leaves in January, an occurrence that now appears unlikely.
