We have reached Gameweek 20 of the Fantasy Premier League, which marks the halfway point. The four teams playing twice this week are Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Crystal Palace.
This is the biggest double-game week this season. Double gameweeks are consistently good chances to close gaps between mini-league rivals and advance in the standings, and this game week is no exception.
There are many nice options for this week, but in this FPL Gameweek 20 Differentials 2022/23 guide, we’ll focus on 5 Fantasy players that might end up being transfer targets in the future if they continue their recent success.
Evan Ferguson (Ā£4.5m, Brighton) vs. Liverpool (H)
The most talked-about FPL player since John Lundstram may soon be this player. This attacker, who costs Ā£4.5, could start up front for one of the league’s finest offenses.
The youthful attacker came off the bench against Arsenal and had an immediate impact. In the game, he scored a goal that gave the Seagulls hope. He then got the game going against Everton, scoring a goal and dishing out an assist to earn all three extra points.
Ferguson also started for Brighton against Middlesborough in the FA Cup. In the 64th minute, he was replaced by Kaoru Mitoma, possibly as a sign of rest before the match against Liverpool.
In the last two gameweeks, Ferguson has an xG of 1.05, which ranks sixth in the league. If we look at xG per 90, he has been the best over the past two weeks. He might be the ideal enabler for FPL managers because Brighton might play a double in the upcoming Gameweeks.
Michael Olise (Ā£5.4m, Crystal Palace) vs. Chelsea (A), Man United (H)
Michael Olise of Crystal Palace has been a significant squad member in recent games. He has started nine of the team’s last ten matches and has contributed a goal and four assists, which is more goal contributions than any of his colleagues during that time.
Additionally, he has the second-most assists in the league throughout that time. His efforts have resulted in two double-digit scoring outings, totaling 44 points and averaging 4.4 points per game.
Crystal Palace will play two games against Chelsea and Manchester United in the upcoming gameweeks. Manchester United has only recorded one clean sheetĀ when playing away, and Chelsea has only managed two at home.
Olise might be a smart differential selection for Fantasy Premier League managers in GW20 due to his excellent offensive potential, decent value at 5.4 million, and low ownership of 0.3%. (at the time of writing)

Christian Eriksen (Ā£6.3m, Man United) vs. Man City (H), Crystal Palace (A)
This season, Eriksen has been an important creative force for Manchester United, scoring two goals and providing a team-leading eight assists in all competitions.
He has been playing well lately, scoring 37 points in his previous six Premier League games for an average of 6.2 points per contest.
Eriksen, who plays a slightly deeper role for United, has nevertheless had an offensive impact on games, coming in second at the club in terms of chances created and big chances created, just behind Bruno Fernandes.
Along with taking the corner and free kicks for the squad, he leads all his teammates in terms of passes made into the final third.
Manchester United has a challenging matchup at home against Manchester City in the upcoming GW20 and a trip to Crystal Palace. Eriksen could be a strong differential selection for this double-game week because of his recent performance and 3.5% ownership.
Rodrigo Moreno (Ā£6.3m, Leeds United) vs. Aston Villa (A)
Since he sustained an injury in GW5, we FPL managers have ignored this additional gem. In the previous seven games, the Spaniard has scored six goals and provided an assist while going scoreless just twice. The two blanks were against Newcastle and Man City.
Rodrigo has tallied ten goals and one assist so far this season. In terms of xGI per 90, he ranks seventh among midfielders this year. The Leeds player is only outscored by Mitrovic, Toney, Kane, and Haaland in terms of goals.
Leeds’ run of games is among the best in the league. They also have two double gameweeks yet to be scheduled. One of which has the chance of being placed in Matchweek 22.
Riyad Mahrez (Ā£7.5m, Man City) vs. Man United (A), Spurs (H)
Riyad Mahrez has contributed to Manchester City’s offense with eight goals and two assists this year.
But recently, he has been in his greatest form, starting four of City’s past five games across all competitions and contributing four goals and both of his assists. He has played in City’s previous three Premier League games and has scored 20 FPL points, averaging an outstanding 6.7 points per match.
Manchester City faces two challenging opponents in the upcoming GW20: Manchester United and Tottenham, both of which are difficult matchups on paper.
Mahrez would be a wise selection for Fantasy Premier League managers because City has the talent and depth to compete with them.
The way Pep Guardiola frequently switches up his lineup is unsettling. Mahrez can be an interesting differential this week due to his low ownership of 2.9% and previous strong play.
